Thaumcraft 1.7.10Being a sorcerer is awesome, and the most awesome way to be a sorcerer in Minecraft is with Thaumcraft. In the process, you'll create altars, wands, golems and fill dozens of jars of coloured goo. There's even a puzzle game you'll have to complete to research new spells. Eyephone Mod1.11, 1.10, 1.8.2, 1.12Now you can have your friends call you up at stupid hours to spoil the latest Game of Thrones episode in-game. And just like a regular phone, the EyePhone comes equipped with a selection of apps (with more unlockable via diamonds).
Best Minecraft Survival Mods
The best feature, though, has to be the ability to email your friends to blow them up, because why not? Only downside is you’ll have to craft an in-game charger to keep the phone powered.
It’s just like real life then? Make Creepers Even More Deadly 1.11, 1.9, 1.7.2, 1.12Creepers not giving you enough grief? We can fix that. The Chameleon Creepers mod makes it so when a creeper passes over a block type, it changes colour in the hopes of stealthily blending in to its surroundings. In short, it makes creepers even more deadly so you won’t see them until they’re hissing down the back of your neck.
Why you’d want to use this mod is anyone’s guess, but for the masochists out there, you’re welcome. Stalked by Hunters 1.7.10, 1.8Sometimes the simplest of mods are enough to give Minecraft a new lease of life.
The Medieval Mobs mod does just that by replacing the current line-up of mobs with bloodthirsty hunters. The Brigand replaces the skeleton, while the Bandit and Tribesman fill the zombie role. But be warned, these new mobs don’t act like their coded counterparts. They’re smarter, faster, and won’t cook in the sunlight. But if they are a little too tough, there is a config file to play around with to help balance these fiends some. Ultimate Apocalypse 1.8The world is going to end. In five days, the sun will explode, causing all life3plants, trees, mobs, animals, villagers—to burn up.
And yes, that includes you. Can you get together enough supplies to venture underground and start a new life?
Minecraft Survival Mods 1.7.10
Can you survive without the overground to keep you fed? Those are the questions the Elite Armageddon mod asks.
To survive in this harsh, ashened landscape will require every trick you’ve ever learned. Dare you grab it? Natura 1.7.10Another great mod for spicing up world-generation is Natura. It adds a wide variety of new tree types, and therefore different-coloured woods to make your home more aesthetically pleasing. It also adds a few extra crops for early-game food and resource production, and makes the Nether a little more dangerous. Natura is a nice first step into Minecraft modding, because it sticks close to the themes of the regular game. JourneyMap 1.7.10Minecraft's default maps are a bit rubbish.
They don't offer much detail, have to be pulled out and looked down at to use, and don't display anything other than where you are. JourneyMap fixes all that—it maps your world in real-time as you explore, can be displayed in the corner of your screen, and even lets you set waypoints to return to later. If you have a habit of getting lost in the wilderness, JourneyMap will get you home safe and sound. Tinker's Construct 1.7.10Tools are the backbone of everything you do in Minecraft, and Tinker's Construct lets you make far better tools out of a much wider range of materials. They're upgradable, modular, and can be repaired if they break. Oh, and the mod also adds a smeltery to make high-end tools and increase ore processing efficiency.
If you love having the best possible equipment to work with, grab Tinker's Construct from. Forestry 1.7.10If you like the agricultural aspects of Minecraft, you're going to love Forestry. It's a huge mod, which adds a bunch of new items, machines and blocks, but it's best known for its bees. You can become an apiarist, capturing wild bees and cross-breeding them using real genetic principles to create masses of different useful resources. If I were teaching biology, I'd be using this in the classroom.

Looking for the best Minecraft server may seem like an ordeal, but when you bear a few important things in mind, finding a good Minecraft server to play on will bring in heaps of rewards. Not only are these rewards player-focused but they also add to the gaming community of Minecraft itself. Just as in life, how you spend your time is not limitless, so why waste time on a Minecraft server where the admin and moderators do nothing to prevent excessive cheating (through Minecraft block id manipulation), excessive griefing, or when they lack the resources to build an established Minecraft community spirit?Personally I prefer vanilla as it allows me to build up my crafting without constantly being attacked or having my hard work destroyed. A lot of servers do operate a 'non-griefing' policy which works well as long as the admin are able to keep the policy active.
Generally private servers are the best for this. Most servers also allow customised to be used, which is excellent. Understanding the difference between Survival and Creative servers will help you focus your time and ensure your happening whilst playing Minecraft.
Survival will focus on surviving the Mobs, horrors as well as other players within The Minecraft sever. Check to see if the good Minecraft server you are considering has PvP and Survival enabled.
At first you may find it hard to survive such PvP attacks from diamond wielding players, especially considering they can steal all your equipment and collected items. If you consider Survival Minecraft the epitome of a good Minecraft Server you may do well to head towards a more Creative based server. This has the advantage of allowing you to mine craft and build your structures as you see fit without trying to survive mobs and other players attacks. It’s fair to say that every good Minecraft server’s experiences crashes, hacker attacks, and lag. No Minecraft server is constantly up 100% of the time, but a good Minecraft server will have a very high “up-time”. Good servers will indicate a true picture of their “up-time” for all to say.
Any server that professes to be up 100% of the time is hiding something. You may want to consider the geographical location of your Minecraft Server that you choose to play on as this will affect the lag-issues common with the world-wide web multiplayer experience common to all online gaming. Look out for extras like a booming Town economy.
Selling your crafted items in Minecraft as well raw building materials will help boost your Minecraft server based currency allowing you to purchase items instead of mining or gathering them. Added extras like voting for cash (in-game Minecraft currency set by the server owner) as well as a Lottery can add to the Minecraft community feeling. Make sure you are aware of any 'freebies' that may help and also look if there is an active trade town.Ensure that the Minecraft Server has a valid IP Address. Bukkit for Minecraft basically enhances the server with a host of additional functions and added features allowing for greater gaming experiences. The use of additional features may not be to everyone’s taste though. Furthermore Minecraft Bukkit allows for added add-ons from Minecraft developers whether private or commercial. Minecraft Whitelist is a way of checking out players before they join a server.
Consider it a screening process that ensures the server only allows people who have registered with the Minecraft website/forum to play. Always, always make sure you read and follow the server rules before you join. These rule boards are usually found at the spawn point (in-game) and are listed at the server’s main website. Having an understanding of what is and what isn’t allowed will save you loads of grief later on. It can also help you getting started as most servers have “freebies” for new players. Make sure you grasp what you can do to other players and if there are any designated PvP areas to either avoid or go to depending on what you like to do in Minecraft.
With the rules firmly understood you can either opt to join the server or look for something else that suits your wants and needs. Hi, this is my favorite server. Now Lord Eddard Stark is reluctantly summoned to serve as the king's new Hand, an appointment that threatens to sunder not only his family but the kingdom itself. The cold is returning, and in the frozen wastes to the north of Winterfell, sinister forces are massing beyond the kingdom's protective Wall. At the center of the conflict lie the Starks of Winterfell, a family as harsh and unyielding as the frozen land they were born to.
To the south, the king's powers are failing—his most trusted adviser dead under mysterious circumstances and his enemies emerging from the shadows of the throne.

Weapons:HammerThis is a very strong two-hand weapon, but also the slowest. It has much stronger knockback than other weapons and can stun enemy upon hit for a few seconds. And if you are facing multiple enemies. Well, you can use the slam attack. Right click on the ground to damage, stun and knock back all enemies around you. It also craks nearby blocks, if they have a cracked version.
However, this attack has a long cooldown and costs a lot of durability.NunchakuNunchaku is a quite weak weapon and it has almost no knockback. However, it's incredibly fast.
You can also hold attack key to let it spin and attack automatically with highest possible speed. It can spin indefinitely damagini enemies you are aiming, while it's damage increases over time.DaggerWeaker than sword, but faster and cheaper. Also, if you hit enemy from behind with this weapon, it deals massive amount of extra damage. Ideal in PvP for surprise attacks.Battle AxeNormal axe might look like a reasonable weapon, but this two-hand version is certainly better. Not only it can be enchanted as a weapon, but it also deals more damage and can disarm your enemy instead of just disabling shield.Note: Disarming a non-player entity will usually destroy the disarmed item rather than drop it on the ground to prevent easy farming.SpearIf you do not like enemies getting too close to you, this two-hand weapon is the right choice. It can hit enemies on much further distance than other weapons.
If this is not enough, you can throw it against enemy. Damage dealt by this weapon also depends on your movement speed, so attacking with this weapon while riding or sprinting will impale your enemy dealing massive damage.CrossbowThis ranged weapon deals more damage than bow and shoots arrows faster, but takes much longer to charge. When charged, it stays loaded, until player shoots by using it again. This means, that you can be always prepared to shoot for a lot of damage. It uses the same ammo as normal bow.Enchantments.
